Gestural abstract artist Sue Reidy is based in Auckland. The subject of her painting is the process of painting itself. Her art process is materials driven.
She works very intuitively and spontaneously. Her paintings are frequently selected as finalists in major national painting awards. Her work has featured in many group shows and she has had two solo exhibitions. She is a graduate of the Wellington Polytechnic School of Design (now Massey University College of Creative Arts).
